When we arrived home from our New Zealand Trip we looked at each other and said “What Next?!” . We were still not keen on going back to the USA so when thinking about alternatives we decided to try for Greece and maybe add a return to parts of Italy that we had not seen before. When I discovered I could lock in Business class seats from Tokyo to Milan ( via helsinki) using Qantas Frequent Flyer points.. it locked in our decision. And so that’s the plan, we start in Milan ( after a brief stopover in Tokyo near Narita airport) , spend 8 days in northern Italy and then fly to Athens. We will be visiting Santorini and Crete and see some highlight on the Greek mainland before flying to Stockholm for a few days. From Stockholm we head to Kyoto for another couple of days before finally heading home. The stopovers in Stockholm and Kyoto are the result of “what awards flights I could get!” . It should make for an interesting trip!
